The media training workshop Asi Disi Vinisa organized by the Mass Media and Information Ministry will be held on July 30 at the Computer Training Centre for the Sri Lanka

Signals Corps at Kokavil for provincial journalists in Vavuniya, Mannar, Mullaitivu and Kilinochchi districts.

The inaugural event will be held under the patronage of Mass Media and Information Minister Keheliya Rambukwella with the participation of Mass Media and Information Secretary W B Ganegala and heads of media institutions.

The workshop will be held from 9 am to 5 pm with the participation of about 50 provincial journalists. Journalists Mohan Samaranayake, S Thillainathan, M S M Ayub, Kachchi Mohomed and Open University of Sri Lanka Faculty of Law head Yashodara Kathirgamar Thambi will deliver lectures at the workshop
